Rogue Weaps

What are some good twink rogue weapons that I should look to get for brothers new rogue? I don’t want to spend more than about 5-10k on both. Thanks. Also is Haze Panther Skin best bang for buck per slot outside say a haste item?

If I were going to twink a rogue on blue, I wouldn't spend a ton of plat. A Serpent's Tooth for Primary, Crystalline Short Sword for Secondary, and a Jade Mace to swap in to keep skills up. That'd come to less than 2k, spend another 2k on FBSS for haste and use the rest of the plat for str/hp items. That'll be plenty to get to 50 and by then he can easily get the epic and loot upgrades as he levels.

Obviously you're not going to get Salindrite Dagger, The Horn of Hsagra, or Exquisite Velium Spear in that price range, but there are plenty others from the list to pick from.

Sebilite Croaking Dirk used to be one of the best before Velious.
As previously mentioned, Serpent's Tooth is a pretty cheap choice.
I've never used a Sarnak Backstabber, but it looks like a great secondary weapon for the price.

Sebilite Croaking Dirk is only like 2k isn't it? That'll do the trick. The 12/21 Velium spear is also under 5k. Winters Fury is a great offhand too if you can deal with a fine steel sword look (I couldn't.) Skyfury Scimitar for maybe slightly more plat has the same ratio and +7 sv magic which I think makes it better for a Rogue. Has the classic scimitar graphic at least

You’ll get plenty of mileage out of it 1-43, if they even make it that far.

Procs are fun. For the price Frozen Shard is a great weapon up to the level it procs and maybe a toy for your bag after. I think they are a duo anyways, Rogue/Ranger. Would be fine even with the proc. If you are looking to spend a little more plat though, then a velium spear etc with a better ratio would beat it out I think.
