the lvl 24 shaman spell envenomed breath is seemingly pulling a rediculous amount of aggro, i can wait for a mob to be blinded and <50% hp and that spell alone will pull the aggro from the tank

Should probably do some kind of research before decrying this as a bug.

IIRC envenomed breath uses poison counters which are HUGE HUGE HUGE aggro so this is probably actually correctly functioning.

Spell agro is a long-standing, long-documented issue.

Spells cause too much agro, especially at the low levels. Read any guide via the way back machine on any class and you'll see that people were able to cast more spells before gaining agro then they do here.

Especially root.

Root should not generate Mez or Snare quality agro.

EB aggro was already changed (increased) to scale just as it was on live. It's the reason why blade of the black dragon eye is considered a good aggro weapon..

Aggro seems perfect on it. Necros/Shamans (even beastlords) on live used poison counter spells to aggro kite or pull aggro all the way up to the nerf in 2005.

------------------------------

- Spells with poison counters no longer have innate agro added. The spells themselves still generate aggro based on their other properities, but you will see a reduction in the amount of aggro generated in many cases.*

Malo line is in the same boat, it should be almost zero threat, but on this server it's worse than Tash.

The poison/disease spell aggro is pretty accurate with what classic was though. Poison/Disease counter threat didn't get nerfed until well after POP. I definitely remember kiting in PoFire for groups at tables and holding aggro just by spamming my level 9 poison DoT.
