Who do you like the best? For me, I think its Kevin Nash AKA Diesel AKA Big Sexy.

He was the longest reigning WWF champion of the 90s and then he founded the NWO, plus he is a giant and I think wrestlers should be gigantic.

1) Kevin Nash
2) Undertaker
3) Stone Cold
4) Bret Hart
5) Chris Jericho

Power bomb is one of the best moves ever for sure. But for my money Ultimate Warrior was the fucking best. I even had the wrestling buddy when I was little.

Jake the snake was my favorite for awhile growing up, but then one day I actually met Andre the Giant in person at a restaurant. He's been my fave every since, as he was so cool to me as kid. He bought me my first Belgian waffle. I tried toeat the whole thing and nearly ended up puking.

Clearly it's X-Pac.

I met him IRL in Nottingham of all places. Was surprised how tall he was. He did have his wrestling boots on.

(Pro) Wrestling is about performance, and X-Pac really was a performer! He just didn't have the physical size that was demanded of the stars of his era.

Speaking of performance, The Rock was always entertaining! His fights didn't really feel so much like wrestling though - the fight should be a tightly choreographed duet between two sportsmen - almost like ice skating.

I'm struggling to pic an all time favourite - but it will need to be a wrestler that performed a great persona as well as great technique with his (or her!) opponents.

Mick Foley is probably worth a shout for the performance aspect. Taker had some good matches with him. Very long career too. I found the 'walking the rope' quite spectacular too.

Its hard to pick one because wrestling in the mid to late 90s was truly an amazing thing. So many great names and awesome matches.

I grew up watching Randy Savage and he was probably the most entertaining.

Undertaker was the best monster big guy. I remember when he locked Ultimate Warrior in a casket and I legit thought Warrior was dead lol.

Mick Foley took the hardest bumps and is largely responsible for catapulting the business to popularity in the 90s. Chris Jericho was one of the best all around imo and is horribly underrated. Triple H is probably the best heel the business ever had, but that is mostly due to assimilating Ric Flair's handbook of notes copied from Buddy Rogers.

Sting deserves mad props for carrying WCW as long as he did. Scott Steiner is a living meme and should be put in a museum. Stone Cold sold the most tickets.

I try to watch WWE/AEW but I can't get attached to any of the new talent and spend most of the time heckling the show.

Its mostly because they have turned the HoF induction into a circus. They add like 10 people every year and have hit the bottom of the barrel for inductions. It would be better off having the HoF every other year or maybe every four years so the people going in are meaningful.

Xpac definitely deserves his spot though, but multiple entries is kinda silly.

as far as keeping the sport alive and the show going, andre the giant, then hulk hogan, then stone cold, the rock, john cena, then i dunno.. Like in from era to era, in that order. Im sure dusty rhodes is in there somewhere but i dont know that much about him. From what I seen in a documentary that guy was like ground breaking with his gimmicks, keeping it moving forward and always pushing the boundaries. Gender bending and shit. Just in terms of keeping wrestling relevant in society, those dudes.

Ya but remember goldberg he could maybe even be better than stone cold and is equally bald and UNDEFEATED

I remember being way threatened by that new threat in the ring and really not wanting that jerk wad to beat my guy Stone Cold who was definitely starting an on stage mental health crisis as part of his persona. Really intense but I don't know if he pulled through.

I rewatched Mankinds Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker recently. The dude literally had a tooth jam through his upper lip stick out of the skin when he took the plunge through the roof of the ring. The worst part of it all is he smashes his head into a chair on the way down. Its hard to watch even 20+ years later. multiple 20ft falls, tacts, tooth through lip, its brutal.

On this forum? I’m prob in the top 5. I grappled for years. Better at grappling than I am striking. Grappling favors strong men. Skinny dude can dance around using his speed to outbox a bigger guy all day. Once the bigger guy gets ahold of him he’s finished however. This is why I always leaned towards grappling and dirty boxing. I’m stronger than 99% of the human population.

wish i was still watching wrestling when this match happened. I stopped watching wrestling because it was fake, then following up decades later, realize how real their injuries in the ring were.

Watched the interview from both wrestlers years later regarding this match, just wild.

Also had no idea how crazy Bret Hart was, these wrestlers WERE their characters, the ego had attached to their persona and couldn't let go.

Man what I'd give for a netflix mini series that kinda relived the behind the scenes of these wrestlers getting into beefs off and on stage based on the facts and interviews.

There was "Darkside of the ring" last year but that was mostly about the most nefarious deeds done in the business. You can find most of the episodes on youtube.

Also there's Jim Cornettes' YT channel and he has a metric ton of inside stories to tell. He can be spicy at times but the stories he has to offer are always entertaining.
