Greenmist quest

I've been looking at this quest and am wondering if anyone has experience with MQing it. Everything up to #6 could be done by a main and then pass the blade #6 to the SK... is it possible to MQ the stupendous tome with the main character and have the SK turn in the hero blade, to give the SK blade #7? Has anyone every done this successfully before?

Also when do drops for Greenmist / blade #8 start? How far after velious launch more or less?

Yes, I've MQed Stupendous Tome with SK turning in Hero's Khukri for Lord of Pain's Khukri. Both characters should be amiable+ with Crusaders of Greenmist.
