Project 1999 server red has the best community of the three servers.

Thats a known fact. Its a different kind of psychosis but a definitely better kind. Blue and Green have some serious pixel rot problems.

Imagine all of the people who permapharm plat items for obvious RMT purposes and how inefficient $/hr they would be operating on a populated red server. Its a good fix for RMT scum, its a good fix for a lot of things. More pvp.

Freedom to pvp when necessary is always important, but we cannot use pvp like a hammer or something.

I want to say that if I was Rogean I would pvp enable all the servers starting the next time they demonstrate that the PVE guys are absolute babies and psychopaths and let them exodus or learn to deal with eachother. They should be playing a live TLP since they hate everquest so much that they want to spend hours lawyering.

I don't know much about lawyerquest. But I think if the world was bigger it might be avoidable.

Back when EQ launched people were probably still discovering stuff and maybe people allowed the higher ranking guilds to have some respect as the bigger shark.

But these days it might be different.

I think if you really like EQ, enjoying pvp is unavoidable. PVE servers are a good start to figuring out if you will like a game designed to make you miserable. But once you find out that's the only way a mmo simulates a world, then it goes to, "What am I earning all this armor for?"

They pvp anyway. PetitionPvP is like praying to Innuruuk to destroy Norrath.

I had good gear for a while on live but EQ is my favorite thing in life so I don't mind just sitting in oasis on a level 12 mage.

I wouldn't mind having a goal to get good gear again one day, if my brain is up to it. But I could probably play under level 50 for a long time. I'm not sure if its just the best game created so far or some how something connected to my youth.

I outgrew a lot of stuff, but not EQ, plus it's very accessible. Easy to go at our own pace with it, etc.

I wouldn't mind more vanilla expansions with 1-50 content :)
