Cost $11.50 but i had the whole theater to myself (early show.) Score, private showing of the movie $$$$. Didn't really have to see the 3D but it was a 2 hr wait for the non 3D. Walked in just as the movie started. I had no clue when Thor started was totally winging it.

I liked it. Plot kinda thin, but never a boring moment. Its an action movie what a expect ? Was glad to see that the producers used villains from the comics.

My new heart throb... Natalie Portman . Hell movie prob sucked but I was too taken by this beauty to notice.

Lol. It was so terrible.

This may be the only time I ever agree with Glitch. Ever. So that's saying something about how awful this movie was. Anthony Hopkins as Odin was pretty awful, and once you get over the fact that it's a big name actor, it just ends up being bad. The guy playing Thor was terrible. The action scenes on Asgard weren't unwatchable, but the Earth scenes made me want to get up and leave. Thor adapted to life on modern-day Earth WAY too easily, and NOT ONCE did he refer to himself as 'the son of Odin', which hurt my soul. Heimdallr was probably the only decent actor in the entire movie...even though the role of 'the whitest of the gods' was cast to a black man.

1. viking god stripped of his hammer
3. meets a hot scientist after dropping out of sky into the desert
4. dissapointment starts to set in that the rest of the movie plot will not revolve around the scenario of thor hanging around a small town in New Mexico to see how he fares with the locals
5. anthony hopkins hams it up in phony shakespearean lingo
6. want to fall asleep out of boredom but soundtrack too deafening
7. Heimdall not talking much just standing there being awesome, doing his job and having to take a lot of shit for it
8. the end
