Greetings. I am having difficulty trying to resolve the one real issue I am having with running P1999. Everything else appears to be working correctly.

Whenever I log in to the server, I get the following message:
"Your XML files are not compatible with current EverQuest files, certain windows may not perform correctly. Use '/loadskin Default 1' to load the EverQuest default skin."

The only problem I have with the windows is I cannot right-click the window and get the chat/window options menu. No way to change languages, filters, etc. This was annoying at the first, but now it is becoming critical. I need to get it fixed, but I cannot seem to find any information on how to fix it.

I have used "/loadskin Default 1" a dozen times or more. I tried loading the other two skins that are apparently installed. The very same problem no matter what I do. (In fact, using "/loadskin..." appears to do nothing at all, except clear the chat window).

In the "UIErrors" file, I got this this morning:
"[Sat Jan 09 10:03:04 2021] Error: Could not find child in window TargetWindow

[Sat Jan 09 10:03:05 2021] Warning: file UIFiles\Default\ not found in directory UIFiles\Default\. Attempting to use file from Default skin.
[Sat Jan 09 10:03:05 2021] Error: Could not find child MeditateButton in window SpellBookWnd"

All of the files in the directory were installed when I installed EQ Titanium, then I installed the latest P1999 package. No other files have been modified externally. I have reinstalled, reloaded the P1999 package, but nothing appears to work.

I can grab the window, resize it & move it. Only the right-click menu is not working.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm at my wit's end. I searched these forums, but all I could find were "reinstall....", etc. Are there any real answers to this problem? Since I am using the same default install files that everyone else is using, I would think that everyone would be having this problem.

Thanks very much in advance!

Open options (Alt-O) and make sure you have 'Allow Context Menus' enabled on the left side

All of the hours spent in reinstalling, deleting & copying files, etc., and yet the solution was so simple it borders on elegance.

That fixed it! Thank you so very much!
