Hi guys, some fantastic news just in time for Christmas!

It turns out gear and privilege doesn't matter as much as we all once thought. Our friends in Apex, saturated in years of uncontested velious treasures and with healthy holiday numbers, appear to be struggling to defend their spot as the top PvE guild on Red99, having long lost any resemblance whatsoever to the top PvP guild. A stunning majority of recent PvP battles have consisted of steady streams of Apex deaths, and concluded in Drybone logging in to kael to /ooc his pixels after abandoning his comrades in the field the moment Apex's likelihood of success fell below 95%.

Elf analysts have discussed various theories as to why the guild with a vast gear advantage, larger numbers and more experience has so often found itself being overwhelmed by the grassroots Sanctuary spin-off that is <Perdition>. Analysts believe Perdition's grit, slow but steady progress, innovative new strategies and healthy camaraderie can be attributed to the recent change in circumstances, as well as Apex's massive stockpile of gear being highly concentrated on a handful of it's inner clique's characters, leaving the common Apex soldier lacking in both equipment and confidence in the field.

As we speak, Dozekar and other noble ToV dragons remain alive and well, and we in Perdition wish them, Apex, Sanctuary and the rest of P99 a safe and Merry Christmas!

It used to matter. It took Empire leaving the server dead for Tune to get his first velious pixels, guess he was some kind of scum case left over from Nihilum where blooming onions determined preferential treatment. Yall still doing loot council??$$$

Fungi grind is pure fun IMO just killing a monster at a time having a great time. It’s the most fun I can have in EQ. Rubicite or ikky regen grind also comparably great

If it sounds like you can afford a fungi. roll a dice 100, to see if you can twink 30k or 60k. 50 or under its 30k. 50 or over 60k. Then roll per item slot 50/50 to see if you can spend 750 under or more per slot. With exception chest can spend whatever you want. Legs roll 50/50 to see 5k less or more.

It is fun. Especially when we can forumquest and ooc quest. I run into 2-3 ppl each day so far in iceclad, thurgadin, tofs, rathe, nro. Helped port someone for a cr from gfay after dying in NK to pvp.

Server is busy enough for me and I can get things done without having to sit constantly logged in and FTE ing a dungeon spawn.

We kinda did win the pvp, you guys just kept zerging with more and more chars each time you got YT'd/plugged, oh and had not 1 but 2 oor healers which was a bit cringy lol. A Christmas armistice would've been interesting. Grats on the AoNs though!

Good question! I don't understand why Apex are so often still mad and toxic even when they win. I guess the anger comes from somewhere deeper down.

Dec was a good month.

I think my favorite memory was concealed and like 6 apex chasing my wizard for about 10 minutes in WW.

I gated in their faces and concealed proceeded to send me rage tells before he raged quit, never to be seen again in 2020.

Gate is pretty good. I basically never played anyone but Gustoo on red99 so I dunno how it would feel to be a tough no gating class again. Being able to coward out is pretty handy.
