May 19th Raffle

I'd like to say thanks to Kraftwerk for a great night and for putting together the raffles/duels/footraces. Let's hope we can keep stuff like this continuing on P1999 to as we get more newbies coming in.

Yep it was a fun event, I had a thoroughly good time despite my number not being called ;)

Footraces were a great idea, and the duels...well, some were good but Youngbreezy (enc) vs Crossplay (pal) was on the broken side.

Overall - the event should be measured by its popularity, GFay held 160+ people for a sustained amount of time. Sure, there was 1000s of pp on offer so that would always hold a crowd but there was a real sense of community there too.

Was sad to miss out on some of the wis caster stuff, saw it for sale in EC a few hours later - sadly a twinked SK's number was drawn and they chose to sell it on. That's life though, back to the grind!

It was so funny while I (zipadee) was doing the first footrace as I was running I was like "my gut says something is wrong" and then it was too late! The funniest part of the whole thing was i didn't have percussion skill trained (NUB ALERT!) and so i admitted defeat right off the bat lol. It was really fun. I just hope that one guy that was nerd raging beyond ridiculous last night finally got a life.

You inspired me to make my pictures a bit larger in the main thread, but they're still not as good as yours. Yours really captures how orderly and convivial and LONG that line was ... :)

Ha, thanks. It was funny how orderly everyone was while in line, not much pushing or bumping going on. ;)
