Odd Sound Issue

Using WinEQ, have used it for years with no problems.

I get music, though sometimes it's actually out of tune. But my sound effects are zero, despite in-game settings being correct.

On my other PC the exact same EQ directory plays and loads sound fine so I don't believe it's anything in the client files.

Is anyone aware of hardware or software conflicts that mess with the sound on here?

EDIT: I looked down and saw the thread about the codec pack and using the right mixer. i'll be doing that when I get out of the office. I just thought having partial sound was odd.

I have had some issues before where music and sound would just stop despite the settings.

Only way I figured out how to fix it was wipe the hard drive/SSD and re-install windows.

You can check microphone or sound source for solution and reset it as require.
