If a necromancer pet has a Dex buff cast on the pet does the lifetap proc occur more frequently?

Somewhat related (as I don't know whether the proc formula is different for innate skills and weapons): I was going to test this with Mage swords, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Still, I ask for Dex buffs for my pet if there a several shamans sitting around looking for something to do on a raid, for instance.

As far as i have tested buffs like STR and STA don't work on pets, and would guess DEX possibly doesn't either. I don't know if this is a feature or a bug, and I've only tested on green (as a shaman).

My test was pretty rudimentary --> Have pet full health, cast STA on it, no change in health bar (if cast on a player at full health their health % will decrease as they now have more HP).
Also never noticed my pet hitting any harder with a high lvl shm STR buff. Would probably need to be parsed to know if a DEX buff works or not

That seems like it would be a bug, since the pet-specific haste buffs also have +strength. If it did nothing, surely that's not working as intended.

its not a pet-specific buff though, just a stat buff from a shaman. The pet-specific buffs might fall under a different category. Probably worth parsing out regardless. Maybe the STR buffs on the pet hastes is just for the +ATK bump, i've never noticed my pet hitting any harder on my mage when i use burnout I, II, or III
