Shiny Robe of the Underfoot

I have managed to get lucky with a few SMRs off Magi. Does anyone know approximately what the chance of getting a Shiny Robe of the Underfoot is from making the turn in? Thinking about doing it for fun for my enchanter.

Whenever I'm bored, I snag one of these in EC and flop dowm there on my monk and turn it in. So far I'm 0 robes 4 Shiny Hunk of Metal.

I've read it's less than 50%... It took me four turn ins to get my SRotU.

I would say its about 40 to 50% chance, i've made all my characters robes this way :D

Most of the fun is in the adventure completing the quest with friends, not so much in collecting SMRs.

I’ve lost maybe 6 smrs.

Can someone list in detail the way to do the quest correctly so I can know?

I think I used a brell worshipping rogue to get there. Did turn it get chunk and die

bonechip quest a gnome brell enc to 16.

run it down with ivu, non kos to everything except 1 wandering rat to invis past.

bind at ent, use as drag mule for rest of your life. Stock with sow pots, buy hole key, done.

Solists is the gnome brell enchanter non KOs to the turn in mob too?

That would be nice. I always felt like getting murded by the mob made the turn in less successful.

I've wasted a TON of SMR I really can't even keep track.
