The casual players are going to have a wait a year to play Kunark, f-ing stupid. Thats why they need another server, these power guilds ruin the experience. The opposite of classic, but I suppose the uber nerds need someone to lord their riches so they can feel good about themselves.

It's part of the answer, the other half is to stop making it so easy to get to raid tier so that player population is more spread out.

Most players likely would support "classic" progression being up to Planes of Power. I think most people agree that was the last expansion before EQ died. It was also the most raid friendly expansion in the somewhat classic era.

Honestly, the way green was launched killed P99 for me for now. They basically introduced instancing with teal, everyone just ran to HHK and power leveled to 50 using non-classic ZEMs, I campaigned for adjusting ZEMs to stop this retarded one zone madness which devs did only to adjust it to other zones instead and leave loopholes like Kith in which had high ZEM with broken mob HP allowing people to keep treadmilling.

Green is completely illegitimate and dead in my eyes. It has a million level 50 characters now who got there using unclassic methods, experience rates, instancing, and so on.

Green has been out a year, if you got ONE level every TWO days after the first 5-10 levels you’d have 4 levels 50s by now. That could be achieved casually, as far as legacy items go, of course they are going to be super competitive, best to get there early or else you will have to invest more time. These items are supposed to be hard to obtained.
