Rules about trading accounts?

it seems that its clear you can't trade real world stuff and you cant trade across servers in game stuff, but what the same server? Say someone wanted to trade plat or items for an account?

It used to perfectly allowed here, and was the norm. Could make plenty of plat just PL'ing random toons and selling or trading them for plat. The early few years of this forum will have probably 500-1000 posts of wtb and wts various accounts.

Still see some accounts I've sold/bought/traded/levelled running around on rare occasions.

Yeah, it was allowed at least back when blue was in Kunark, you just couldn't sell for RL $. I didn't even know it had changed.
