I just got a mouse with extra buttons. Is there a keyboard combo that would work like right clicking a clickie bound to a command slot? I have a lumi staff, es vambraces, and a snare ear ring that would be nice to just push one button to use with our moving the mouse to the corner. I drive with the mouse mostly.

Don't think you can make keybinds for mouse buttons on the Titanium client. If you figure out how let me know.

I don’t think so but wanted to check.

Live EQ (https://www.everquest.com) has this but not P99.

If you have keyboard/mouse software that allows you to rebind the keys, you should be able to do it.

Set on of your mouse buttons to do a keyboard stroke of 1,2,3 etc and put the item on your hotbar in the correct slot.

I use XBMC (https://x-mouse-button-control.en.softonic.com/) for my cheap 5 button Logitech. I rebound click scroll wheel to a hotkey set to a social for "/book 3" to open my spell book and my two side navi buttons for left and right keyboard arrows so I can oage through my book quickly. Everything else is bound to left-hand side of keyboard. Never have to move my hands and can drive with both more easily, now.

Just keep in mind server rule #5:

5. You may not use third-party programs on Project 1999.

The use of any third-party programs on Project 1999, including but not limited to, Macroquest/Macroquest2(MQ/MQ2), ShowEQ(SEQ), or any other program that interacts with the Everquest Titanium Client, is strictly prohibited. Use of any third-party programs will be detected and will result in the permanent banning of your account(s). No exceptions will be made, and once a ban has been enacted for violation of this rule it will not be reversed.

This is not limited to programmable keyboards or other input devices that creates multiple inputs for a single keystroke or automated task.

Wineq2 by Lavishsoft is the exception to this rule. In addition, any program that strictly reads log files is acceptable.

Good point about automation, all I did was bind numlock to an extra mouse button.

I mean, you'll almost certainly never get called out for this...but creating binds outside of the UI is, to my reading of the rule, creating "multiple inputs" by hitting your mouse button once.

Nobody will care until a GM actually bangs someone up for it, which may be never...or tomorrow.

GINA is a third party program, isn't it?

Not to be a Daldean but it probably shouldn't be enabled on P99.

It's (log readers) actually mentioned in that same rule - I didn't copy the whole thing:

https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2651

Is it classic? I'd argue against it, but /shrug.
