It doesn't appear that rogue clockworks in Steamfont Mountains are dropping the scrap metal needed to complete the Scrap Metal (https://wiki.project1999.com/Scrap_Metal_Quest) quest offered by Sanfyrd Featherhead in Ak'Anon.
Sanfyrd appears where he should across from the Mines of Malfunction and offers the expected dialog offering payment for 4 pieces of scrap metal.
This issue was reported previously in this thread (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=214747), but the thread was mistakenly posted to Rants and Flames from the looks of it and was closed.
An Allakhazam snapshot from May 2000 (https://web.archive.org/web/20000511191509/http://everquest.allakhazam.com/quests/Q_Akanon.htm) suggests the quest should be in-game and functional by that time.
