I was really there to see Metallica. I haven't seen those guys yet at that time. But VH was headlining so I stayed even though I was so wore out from moshing and fighting security that I was barely alive. Also the acid was wearing off. But I stayed and it was just noise to me at that time, but when Eddie started going all freestyle it cut right through the chaff.

What a sad year this has been. Eddie Van Halen is the reason I started to play the guitar when I was 13 years old back in the year 19 and 90. I guess my 1984 Kramer Beretta will go up in value though, little consolation to me.
