I'm having trouble completing the Blessed Oil (https://wiki.project1999.com/Blessed_Oil_Quest) quest. It proceeds as expected until the final turn-in, at which point Brother Hayle eats my Temple Summons without granting faction, experience, or the T.O.L. 2020 item needed to complete the quest. Brother Hayle con'ed warmly to me at the time.
It looks like a fix was attempted some time ago according to this (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55779) post, though in that case the player still received faction and experience without getting the T.O.L. 2020 item.
I'm no expert on classic EQ, so please let me know if there is more information you require or something that I've overlooked. Thanks!
