Post pictures of your vegetable gardens, vegetables from your gardens, game you've killed, or DIY projects. Pretty much anything is welcome related to homesteading, DIY, hunting, gardening, etc.

As far as DIY projects, please keep it preferably electrical, woodworking, mechanical, software, metallurgy, blacksmithing, welding, etc.

Has to be original content.

Aight, I'll go first:

GARDENING:

https://imgur.com/Fa5H4aX.jpg

I was pulling weeds on my property, which is terraced. I lost my balance and fell off one terrace onto the street 10 feet below, driving my elbow bone into the ground and into tiny shards. Two operations, lots of titanium, and 12 screws which I've named after the Apostles. I can feel them through the skin so I rub their heads absentmindedly when I'm waiting for the spawn timer to count down.

HUNTING:

https://imgur.com/hEemVeJ.jpg

Saw a moving deer crossing my T at 50 yards in heavy forest from a standing ground position. I brought up my .50 cal muzzle-loader and sent out a 300 grain piece of lead in saboted .452 cal. It hit the deer at 2000 fps with around 2600 ft/lb of force.

Straight through the heart.

Straight through the heart.

Gnarly - did you bite it?

Also, my picks from the garden this morning:

Did not. That's why all the Indians are dead. I handle uncooked deer meat like Kyle Rittenhouse handles schools. With gloves.

Jealous of veggies. I can only grow ornamental. I tried growing vegetables but it was like having a concentration camp with all the barbed wire and the 8-foot fencing and the nightly animal assaults. I can shoot deer but not on my property. I have to go like 500 yards into the woods and they're crafty so they bypass me and go straight for my garden.

It's a walking stick / cane I made. I want to get into carving designs into them but I still need to get the tools.

That's a mighty fine walking stick man. I made a similar one out of a soap tree yucca in New Mexico, they make awesome walking sticks.

I had a mesquite limb laying next to my little shop for years. I often thought of a splintered club when I saw it so I took off some of the parts that didn't fit. It's about 5 lbs and not easy for this old guy to swing. But, it's a club.
And I made the tea house in my signature photo.

The wood shop is a ongoing project. Salvaged a workbench today. Had to do some modifications but it turned out alright for being a not square POS lol

Funny side note, my berry picture somehow made the imgur most viral page with close to 90k views. I only uploaded it to post here lol
