Hey,
So I was looking on my trainer last night and noticed that meditate is not available at the moment to train in for my Shadow Knight.
I remember about a year ago, there was a problem with meditate as you could put a skill point into it at any time, but it would not work until your class' level was supposed to have it.
Now, I am only level 9, and do not get meditate until level 12 (I think). Did they fix it to the point where it will not show up on your trainer until your class can use it now?
Thanks for your time.

Shadow Knights don't get meditate.
Edit: Actually, ignore my ignorance. *hangs head in shame* If it's not on your trainer now, it should show up at 12, and if it doesn't... uhh. I don't know.

It does show up now, and is working as intended :D

Ok.....so I'm retarded? I will check again when I am done work, but I even had my wife come over and look as I scrolled up and down the training list and said to her, "do you see the word Meditate here?
After she said "WTF is meditate? You people that play these video games are all weirdos" she said she didn't see it either.

I don't think you get it till 15 on this server. It may not show up in the list till 15 either since there was a bug with meditate a long time ago. One possible way to fix it is to just remove it till 15 so.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I guess I will wait to see what happens at level 15.

It should most certainly show up at 12 as it does for SKs/Pals/Rangers. If it doesn't, take screenshots and post them in the bug forum.

I had the same issue on my sk. It was there when I dinged 12 though and works just like it always did :)

The reason this happens is due to the client. Since Meditate is a level 1 skill in modern EQ and this server uses different level requirements for different class types, the Meditate option isn't shown in your GM's list until you're actually able to use it. That's what the devs said, anyway; there's no way to get around it.
Yeah it's not working as intended yet. Instead of always showing up and seeming trainable yet not working until the correct level, it doesn't show up in the list at all until you're of the correct level.

But you still get it at the correct level, its not like you're deprived - the SK guildmaster is just being a douche by holding back the info :(

Correct.
It shows up for each class as soon as you are sufficient level to learn the skill.
(The earliest it shows up for anyone currently are int casters at level 4. Before that it's missing from the list for everyone.)
