What is Aegis exactly?
Aegis is an alliance of autonomous Guilds, assembled together with the common purpose of exploring and advancing through end-game p99 Everquest content.
Why join an Aegis as a player or as a guild?
Whether you are a brand new player or a seasoned veteran, level 1 or level 60, the Aegis Alliance guilds are looking for more members and quality people! We are comprised of a broad spectrum of guilds and play times, levels and goals. There is a tight-knit community of helpful people who casually raid what we can, when we can. Aegis is also always accepting applications from guilds looking to vastly increase their strength of numbers and raid ability without losing their sentimental guild tags. Please come join a fun community aimed at exploring new content, completing epics and helping each other progress and have fun!
Active and recruiting Aegis guilds are:
<Homeland> (Guild Leader - Minnimee) - Formerly <Homeland Security>. Originally started as an RP guild, Homeland is now focused on a sense of camaraderie and community.
<Auld Lang Syne> (Acting Guild Leader - Salal) - A Unique P99 Experience for the purist who enjoys a degree of difficulty and a do it yourself attitude! No twinks or MQs allowed!
<Les Irreductibles> (Guild Leaders - Ermanaric & Crastak) - Exceptional players with European friendly play times! These guys know their stuff! French language required
<Europa> (Executive Officer - Erlig, Recruitment Officer - Kinya) - Europa stands for fun and mature EQ gaming. They only accept friendly, no-drama people. They like to make EQ entertaining!
<Tranquil Domain> (Guild Leader - Myanka) - Casual family guild who plays statically in nightly eastern window. Organize nightly events such as fun dungeon crawls, epic fights, leveling groups, farming, etc. Accepting new members along the way that know how to have a good time!
Semi active or inactive Aegis guilds:
<Omni> (Acting Guild Leader - Pollen) - Omni is looking to add good people to their ranks as they continue to build. Their core is active during US daytime which means that those in Asian/Euro timezones fit well with Omni.
<Asgard> (Guild Leader - Lightyer/Artah) -
<Decerto Verum> (Guild Leader - Kazzoz) - DV started as a Casual Leveling/Raiding Guild - They play with a strict Real Life > Game Life policy and joke around pretty hard. Leaving for child duty/family responsibilities during the middle of a raid is perfectly acceptable. (Level 45 minimum level required.)
