Im fine with one person per character per account. That makes sense to me. I dont like two-boxing, and I dont think people should do it.

However, I finally convinced my girlfriend to play EQ with me, but we cant because of the IP restriction. How can I circumvent this in a rule-abiding way? I want to play EQ with her, but Im not about to find another internet connection to do so, and I find it unfair for the Admins to expect me to.

And yes, I can see how this can be exploited, but wtf.

Read here: http://www.project1999.org/forums/announcement.php?f=25

More specifically, read the part about IP Exemptions.

If only there were some sort of repository of important, server-related information, that included a list of questions which seem to be asked frequently...

There are some tech savvy people playing, so I'm sure a portion of them won't bother trying to get an IP exemption.

I just hope the admins spot them, I hate boxing, I hated seeing 2-boxing during the original Kunark... too many warriors running around with clerics on follow.

Play properly, its more fun :)
