Login Issues - No servers displaying

I've been trying to log in and I'd get in to the server select screen .. but there's no servers at all displaying. If I do "quick connect" when logging in, it logs me in to a random server that is not p1999. Anyone ever have this issue before? I tried restarting eq and still doing same thing.

If I let it sit on the server select screen with no servers, i'll eventually get timed out.

I just installed it this morning and came across this issue. I think it's part of the DDoS problem. At one point I did get a server list and was pretty excited, then tried to select server and got Unknown Error.

happened to me last night, really annoying, i just kept esc and relogging in and eventually it would show up.

My WinEQ has been acting super flaky, so I assumed mine was tied to this. Anyone else using it?

Not using WinEQ.. Didn't happen to me till last night and of course I checked the forums first and it said DDoS'ers are back.

My guess is maybe login server needs a kick.

for the past hour i have been trying to patch and its telling me it timed out and the servers may be busy.... is this a related problem??

Did you follow the step for the shortcut? It should be to eqgame.exe not Everquest.exe

crap... idk how i missed that (i did all this lastnight very late)

ok i made the changes and i am in the game now :D

wil the bit that was patched have any impact on the game now?? if so i guess i have to uninstall and re-do everything?

I ended up getting the no servers thing too, kinda strange. I have had eq titanium installed for several years and this is the first time it has happened to me. using the mouse to click instead of just hitting enter through the menus fixed it for me.

I've been using mouse for each step. I've now gotten as far as almost creating char at different times. I get to screen to put in name and it says checking server then hangs there.

I hear ya and not knocking the server, not much you can do about it. Just anxious to play

This problem has nothing to do with WinEQ, or the initial server setup. It started the day of the patch. Please fix this.

It's more than minor, at least the overall issues. I've gotten as far as create character. But when I try to check name with server it hangs. And that's only happened twice today. Rest of time was timeouts/unknown error/no internet connection error(when I was connected(

A bit more than a minor inconvenience, at least for me.

I tried to log in for 25min just now and continued to get either, blank server screen or timeouts. Hope they can find a fix soon, I'm bored. ;)

Ive been playing for about two months now and never had a problem logging in. I even played earlier today, but now im trying to get on and there are no servers showing for the last 90min, I restarted and tryed to log in 30 times

Seems hard to believe a server side issue would be this selective.

all my problems started this past friday (well saturday at like 2am cst). Server went all wacky, most of us crashed and since then I have been getting the blank server select screen and crashing on zoning.

Sucks, everything was working so smoothly until that fateful night =p

Its hit or miss for me, just got it 5 times in a row here. I login first time, no problem, but then I can't use mouse from character select screen. I hit "esc", back to account login screen.

From there, once I login with UID/PWD, then I get the blank server screen.

Very weird.
