Corpse keeps disappearing

Ok so I'm new to the green server, not to EQ, its been years though since I've played... I started in Freeport and I've restarted twice now because Ive been killed and my corpse keeps disappearing... am I doing something wrong? It just happened again and I don't want to keep starting over...

try going to the last spot u died and type the command /corpse summon
might be a texture glitch

Are you going out the east freeport gate to level? If you die there you load up at the west freeport newbie yard. The areas can look similar. You could be looking for your corpse in the wrong zone

Yes, I figured this out about an hour later, hahaha. Like I said it has been years since I played.
