Strafe Run

I can strafe run perfectly when in 1st person camera mode. However, when playing in 3rd person view it doesn't work. Anyone else have this issue?

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I see other peoples videos and they strafe run in 3rd person just fine. Still cant get it to work.

Maybe you're using the wrong keys? When I strafe run in 3rd person I hold my mouselook down and use the forward + turn left/right keys to do it.

I tried that as well and no luck, my character just does a normal turn to the left or right with no strafe. Do I need to bind strafe run to certain keys to get it to work?
