Blue Veliousuiv3 "Your XML files are not compatible"

Logging on blue after a long break, new install.

When I use default velious UI some of the windows are classic such as char select, bank, and loot.

When I extract veliousuiv3 to uifiles\velious I get the desired textures, but also get an error about XML files being incompatible.

Will this cause issues or can I ignore error?

So continuing to try and set up my UI. I have noticed that hotkey button text is too dark to read.

Anyone know how to fix this?

This is the UI from veliousuiv3 in the getting started page. I haven't modified it or anything. I also tried extracting to a new folder under uifiles and loaded it with the same result.
