Enjoyed the video and been soloing a lot on my Pally recently as well. Hoping to get to 54 for Enstill which makes camping out against 3 mobs feasible when you get a crit.

How much exp did ya manage to get during that hour? I know at 54 it’s all slow. Have you considered a DW BP to reduce your downtime?

They have given us the 2h bonus - noticeable difference, but no monk level dps.

54 Is slow, but really all levels post 51 are painfully slow.
I think I got 2%-3%? Which at 56 isnt too bad.

Yup a DW bp would be alot faster but I am poor - cant afford a dw bp =(

It's super fun, 100% do it.

It's alot faster in the lower levels since the mob dps increases and hp I would say doubles once you go from wan's/zol's to dar's.

This happens around level 51ish.

I recall awhile back we had a debate about the relative merits of heavy mana focus on Paladins, but not today. A solo Paladin can be stingy with mana if he likes but it's nice to have the deeper pool.

Yes. Also, with a better ratio 2h it’s a tad quicker but killing blue xp mobs with a knight is not fast exp by definition. What it is is “possible” so load up the YouTube, get a drink or three, and enjoy a relaxing grind.

My solo journey as a pally has always been on par or better to most groups like Seb (Exp per hour grinding, not averaging waiting for a group). Definitely way better than Karnors or Velks. Was not compared to Chardok and I assume not nearly as good as The Hole. Not waiting for a group though gets you right into action and if RL beckons you just camp out.

If we’re being trolly and pedantic, then follow your advice and go play the *real* EverQuest on Daybreak servers, or TLP.

The only acceptable server to bash on is Red, per tradition :)

Most of blue when I checked is afk people or those repeatedly trying to sell items in EC that no one is buying.

Velious raid loot has been farmed over 3x as much as it should be. The rest, 10x over.

It's over for bluecels.

I like Blue just fine. Haven't been on green since about January. Couldn't motivate to stay with it at it at this stage of my life, felt unnecessary to start over when I'd just end up where I already am anyway. Progression races, character building, and how many people have raid loot are irrelevant to me. Each to his own.

Why do you say the death was dumb though? It seems like you did what you could, decided you couldn't kill the add and camped right next to a necro (ie, so presumably it was a sameish spot for a moment), then logged back in and got murdered.

To me it seems like reasonable decisions were made in the moment, and some bad luck got you killed.

When it broke I should have re rooted and loaded IVU up invsed and camped agro out but I stupidly stayed in the fight...then forgot to IVU when I eventually camped out the agro.

Also he was the pather that walks that hallway so I was pretty boned loading back in even after the root.

I should have stayed logged out for 30 odd seconds and hoped it was clear.

We live, we learn.

Going to try the Lord today and once I have him dead then I have successfully solo'd every name in Undead LGUK and can check that off my bucket list.

Ok... And you're on a new server going through the exact same timeline for the 3rd time man... You're one of the biggest chumps on here.. You played through blue, you played through red, and now you're playing through green dude.... I honestly don't get your point?
