Corpses got about 5 days left on them so ya its gotta be soon. I think the lowest i can get the mage is to 12. which means they'd need to be at least lvl 8.

Maybe I would fit. I'm so new to the game that I don't even know what you are talking about. What is: "de-lvled / mage plvlage"? Sounds complicated. Which means, this clumsy player will find the way to screw up something. I always do. Mage lvl20 (only toon on blue) with nice blue robe someone gracefully gave me. Was lvl 21 but Spectres and Gargoyles killed me 5 times in a row in mere 20-30 minutes. Did level up on swimming though. ;)

Will not be online until Monday early morning, so I guess I'm probably out.

Edit: Now I'm confused. This was posted in 'Red Community'. I don't do Red. Never will. Too clumsy. I can die plenty of times on my own, without other players ganking me lol

Make a Druid, a Cleric and a Fighter type class and you'll always have something for every situation.

Remember you can legally play red and blue and green all at the same time and not get banned.

LVL 41 in one night is the fundamental problem with a server that’s 9 years old with 3 expansions of content. This game has never been about pixeling your brains out at the end. It’s always about the journey. And quite frankly if your investment to a server is lvl 41 in one night/plane gear with port bots then the server prob not going to encourage fun fun very long time. It will however encourage stragglers who haven’t played eq in a while and just venturing 8 years late to the party and the guys who have been here and probably will be here until it’s remainder.

Except that (and correct me if I'm wrong here) the people being recruited are the ones that have already completed the journey several times over, but cannot access end game content due to competition for it on Blue. There's also the incredibly different dynamic of that content on a PvP server. Both of those things don't require you having to go through "the journey" an 11th time. I have ALWAYS played this game for the journey, but this proposal certainly intrigued me to the point of actually making a character on red.

You are correct.

I have several characters on Blue that are SS geared and epiced, but my life does not allow me to sock mobs for 16 hours a day, even once a week. I like the challenge of soloing and small-manning content, which is impossible to do on Blue. My enchanter has been parked at Lodi for months now (on Blue), trying to get a chance to solo him, but even when I log in immediately on a quake, I have had no chance of getting FTE. This is just one example, but there are many other (i.e. when was the last time a golem was soloed on Blue?). I'd rather play casually on Red and have a chance at content like that, then play on Blue and only be able to zerg mobs.

The only reason I posted/responded was, because someone was asking for new players, low level on Blue Server. After I submitted 'reply button', I saw, there was Red server involved, so I added that part of the comment, basically through joke notifying OP that I'm not interested.

Question for Red server: can I (always if I want) refuse pvp request? Even if so, current population would make my leveling journey on Red feeling very lonely.

Maybe solution could be, one of the other two servers enables PvP, but only when both parties agree for the battle? It could be interesting for bystanders too...

What you might be interested in is the /duel function. Red is not that.

bumping this for you moogle we spoke alot in game, i got about 4 guys to 12 or so in a small amount of time, cant hardly buff on a ranger since they nerfed buffs on low lvls unless grped..... get up with me we can get them more lvls.

doing this is a grueling amount of work. it takes hours to produce the necessary corpses, then its a mindless butchery for hours in Mistmoore to relevel back to 40, then i have to arrange to be bard swarmed back to 46 so i can memorize my epic spell again. I'm willing to do this again, but not for just 1 or 2 people. if you got people that are seriously willing to play red, and there's at least 3 or 4 of them ill do it otherwise no.

Finished my epic on Red (Had Black Dire and a few CoM reports turned in since 2013), pop still 50s - rolled on Green, have a 40 Wizard after about a month.

If more people keep joining red, I'll definitely join back in for some PvP and if we can get the raid-scene poppin' with GvG PvP over targets, it'll bring me back to Garagebox 1.0 on VZTZ.

Moogle here - yes I still do this, however....Setting this up STINKS. It takes most of the day to drop that many corpses. Then I still have to get myself back up to 46 afterward so I can memorize my epic from my book. It also takes about 4 non-stop hours of killing, to say nothing of how long it takes for people to get moved to the "safe spot" who don't know mistmoore.

Bottom line is this. I won't do this for individuals (I won't even do this for guildies). If 3+ people are coming to red, and your SERIOUS about playing on red, (no "I am just going to try it out") then I am willing to do this type of plvlage. However, its just not worth it for me to put this much work in only to have people vanish when the server doesn't meet their expectations.

If you are coming solo then ask in /ooc for an invite to sanctuary (/ooc is world chat). Sancatry is the "new players guild" it's not set up to raid only to provide haven to new people / alts. The leader has a no drama policy. If you want epic/planar level targets though you'll have to choose a side. You can't play pvp and escape it forever.

Red is a great place if you want to exp solo, and do pre-raid camps. There's not much fuss. However, due to low population we can't kill top end raid mobs either. I won't control which end game guild you want to join, but I am looking for people who will ultimately be raid bodies.
