New install same problem- Can't get passed character screen

I installed the latest Project 1999 batch. I've tried WinEQ 2 and used Launch Titanium button. I can create a character, but the game window immediately disappears (crashes) when I try to enter game. Using Win10 and Nvidia 980 TI card. Any ideas on what to patch or setting to adjust?

Try tethering to your phone or using a VPN to rule out a network issue.

is your cpu overclocked?
You may even need to disable the overclocking via your bios.
far fetched that this is the solution, but it has been in the past lol..

according to an old forum post 4.2ghz and above causes issues with the titanium client. Don't ask me why, I don't know.

It is a bit, but I tried installing on a different PC that is not OC and got the same results... I've got other computers to try. I think I'm going to try a couple other computers if I get the same result then I know I am not installing it correctly. I downloaded a fresh copy of EQ:Titianium and latest P1999 file... I even downloaded two different copies... One unzipped to a folder and the other I had to actually install via ISO files... It's weird you would think if I had an install problem I would get an error. This allows me to create a character and craps out when I select one to enter world. I played P1999 like 5 years ago so I'm not a total newb. Keep the ideas coming I am continuing to research and work on this

Yeah this is weird. It doesn't sound like a networking issue, but the fact that you're having problems on multiple PCs suggests that it's either that or a problem with your installation media and/or your application of the patch.
