Lost my sound

After playing for a week or so I realize I have no sound. I can't really even put my finger on when the sound stopped working. I've checked my ini file and Sound is set to True I've checked options and I have my sound volume turned on. I'm not sure whats causing this? I even went so far as to install another copy of P99 just to check if that could get my sound back but no such luck. I have sound with other programs, and use discord or watch movies occasionally on my computer with no issues while playing EQ.

Anyone experience anything similar? Any help is appreciated.

Checked windows mixer and I see Everquest listed and it’s turned up. There’s even a bouncing green bar which makes me think the sound is there I’m just not hearing it for whatever reason.
