View Full Version : Druid Macro for SoW spamming

There are two spells, that I need to always have in spell bar, since there is such demand for them from random players: SoW & Skin like Rock (or similar)

This interfere with other spells I want to have in spell bar & use on regular basis. My question is, can I create 'Social' Button macro for these two and cast them from there, without a need to occupy two spell slots? If yes, what are the commands? Better yet, can I put both commands on one social button, with some kind of pause between them?

If above is not possible, what you Druids are doing to solve this problem?

Do you have any other macro/command tip for wanna-be Druid to share?

/petition: Druids need double of spell bar slots ;)

To cast a spell you need to have it memorized. Only way to cast a non-memmed spell is from a clicky item.

OK I understand, thanks! (both of you)

my gem 7 and 8 are always SoW and a buff (skin or whatever). I dont even really change gems 4-6 much either. What spells are necessary that you don't have room?

I'm glad to learn later on, there is not much need for changing spells on gems. I will come back to you. Right now I'm lvl 18 and still doing hack & slash. Once lvl19 I will try pet charming, that's will be whole new world and new way of playing Druid. After lvl 19 i will come back and ask you what is preferred list of spells to use for charming or anything else (rooting?). I'm aware as beginner and slow to learn spells and mechanic I'm probably doing everything wrong. That's why I'm happy to learn, Druid don't need to constantly add/remove it's spells later on.

There is a macro to cast a spell on the last person to send you a /tell and then /reply with canned message before you /sit. Look that one up and play with the delays.

Sounds like that would just be:

/rt (/rtarget) - targets last person who sent you a tell
/cast 1 - casts SoW (assuming it's in slot #1)
/r *canned message* - sends "you just got SoWed!"
/sit

(and then throw /pause someNumber in-between as needed, as Grimstrike said)

Play an enchanter if you think druids need a second spell bar.

I have a feeling, I better skip it :p

It's really not a problem. If someone asks me and I'm not doing anything else then I will mem them if I don't have them already.

If I'm busy then I'm busy.
