When binding wound as long as you were below the 50 percent cap when it finished you got the additional hp's over 50 percent added to your current hp's. Also, warriors could eventually bind wound to 70 percent at 201 skill.

Although this probably isn't something you can fix, I get some weird targeting bug after binding wound. Can't target anything, have to go to another window and come back (sometimes a couple times, windowed mode) to get clicking back.

I talked to someone else who had the same problem.

You are sitting while binding President. While you get no notification that you can't do that, you will not get the bind would hp and if you click on it more than once you will get bugged.

What needs to happen is if you are sitting while binding wound, you should stand (similar to the way you would stand if you cast a spell). Any way to do that?

thats interesting, I had two people tell me last night to "sit while I bind"

It was something that you could do in later versions.

Bind wound doesn't work while sitting, and you can't bind wound yourself at the same time someone else is binding, or you will be interrupted by their attempt to bandage you.

If you try to sit and bind wound it can do this, and i just had it occur while i was bw'ing normally. It will bug target window, and hotbuttons; i can not open doors with the bug, i can't use any abilities, or choose targets.

Try hitting right shift key?

Basically bind wound should act like casting a spell (causing you to stand). You cannot sit while binding wounds in classic.

Thanks, but it bugging out target is still... a bug. Carry on.

Wasn't disagreeing with you, was offing a possible solution for the GM's. As you were.

Bump. How is bind wound doing now?

Any additional changes needed?

Seems to be working ok for me. My skill is real low though so I may not be the best one to verify :-p

for me bind wound still caps at 50% even though the bind wound should be able to jump to >50% when you finish it at say 49%.

I remember this happening also. Meant there was an element of tactics in the timings of your binding :)

uppon nearing 50% hp, it still only raises your hp to exactly 50%

I'm 99% certain that you always got the extra hp over 50% that a successfull bind would give, but the warrior extra skill and ability to bind more than 50% I'm pretty sure wasn't in classic

Another thing is the amount of raises you get in Bind wound is way lower on P99 that it used to be in classic. It's almost impossible to max out your BW each lvl on P99 unless you specifically jumps down from something over and over and have like unlimited amount of bandages available. As a mage It used to take me like 5 or 6 mobs that i would melee to take me to 10% hp and maybe 1-2 stacks to get my 5 points. Now I'm lucky if 2 stacks will even get me 1 raise. It's not broken. it does raise, just not veru much

Bump, noticed this too to searched the forums. Specifically, that if you bandage at 49% it only goes to 50, not 51, or 52...

additional notes:

Only one person can bind a target at a time, i.e if you're using bind wounds on yourself and someone else comes up and does the same to you, you fail cuz of moved message, on live unlimited numbers could bind same target.

This must have just happened because it wasn't like this about a month ago. Probably the a side effect of something gone wrong by accident.

Yea, the only class that had the ability to get bind wound over the 100 skill cap was Monks. They were the only ones that could BW up to 70%.

Same -

I've noticed - on quite a few occasions with Bind Wound.. If I am binding wounds and then a group mate starts to bind on me, it will interrupt it and say that I have moved - even though I'm positive that wasn't the case.

It doesn't seem to happen all of the time - but usually it does. Only seems to matter if I start a bind first then someone else does right after.

Also - it's not because I'm close to 50% (happens even at real low HP) - and the first couple times I thought - maybe I moved... but typically, I target myself and hit '9' which is the number on my setup for bind wound - so my hand wouldn't even be near the movement keys - happened too many times for it to be me 'bumping' a key - etc - and moving a bit.

One last thing - when it happens, it will immediate refresh bind wound and let me do it again. I'm not sure if that cancels the other persons binding but I don't believe it does, I'll pay more attention tonight.

I am in lower guk, and when I bind wounds at say 58 pct, tells me I cannot bind past 70.... and Mend takes me from 74 pct health to 82?, wtf.

Did you guys make a change over the last couple days? :)

I noticed... now I start binding wounds right after another player does - I was in the habit of that. When they complete their bind wounds, it will give me the 'you have moved' message if I'm in the process of binding wounds as they stop.

I tried it a few times just to be sure, seems consistent.

Maybe I'm wrong and the cap is 100, but I've been at 100 since lvl 28 or so. Is the cap supposed to be 100 or 225? Or is it broken?
Thanks

Is it just warrior?

Cap is supposed to be 100 in classic.

I know it doesn't make any sense, but Thulghor is right.

Only monks get a bind wound of over 100 in classic, if I remember correctly.

And just a heads up. Disarm is broken too bud.
