Ranger - Face Slot

Have a 54 ranger and I’m struggling to land on a decent face slot item. What do you all use? Enshroudment Veil looks to be about the best price wise and stat wise. I guess if budget is unlimited there’s tons of options, I’m kind of on a budget haha. Thanks in advance!

Once you can collect 5k, Eyepatch of the Shadows.
Once you can collect 30k, Faceguard of Bentos the Hero.

Eyepatch of Plunder is obviously good, but harder to obtain (and the Haste Click is wasteful if you have a PoSky cloak)

Then if you are in a Raiding guild:

Sky Watcher's Monocle - Medium
Ancient Pirate's Eyepatch - Hard
Ssra`s Bloodstone Eyepatch - Harder
Silver Mask of the Slayer - Hardest

Just get a plunder, it's the best happy medium. And with the haste cloak the click is not wasted at all. I use it every single time im rezzed to put haste where i want it in the buff order.

IMHO, for a casual make sure str is capped (ideally self buffed). Then go AC/HP’s. If you pull a lot or want to occasionally raid trade out ac/hps for Sv magic. Fears, roots, blinds, slows will kill you fast. I’d rather have 100Mr unbuffed than an extra 200hps but many will disagree.

You can keep a Sarnak Hide Mask (5str) and Grotesque Alloy Mask (5sv magic) on you for like 200p total. Throw in a Crystal Spider Eyes (8ac 3 wis 35mana) if you need the hps and mana.

its a lot of work but eyepatch of plunder is the best you can do without entering tov. mask of wurms and tribal war mask are decent low end items. the mask from the gangrenous bug in sebilis is also decent ranger mask on the low end. id agree that 5str/mr on sarnak hide mask is a solid option and shouldnt cost a dime.

Silver Mask of the Slayer is hardest. 4 doze tear quest. Vulak mask is just loot off a corpse.

dig up those dkp values for slayer tears vs akkirus masks, id be curious. back when i was killing doze those tears were going for a couple hundred a piece. its going to be harder to outbid every class in the game for an akkirus then it is to collect tears vs rogues and monks, but thats just one guys opinion.
