Hey P99!
So it's possible that this issue was shared and archived in the past but I couldn't find my issue in the forums.
So! I've followed all of the steps correctly and to the T in the setup guide for running P99. I, in fact, have the game up and running just fine for the most part and can successfully log into my character on any of the Red, Blue, and Green servers. My issue is in trying to get the game to run in fullscreen. Currently, the game runs windowed and as a result, the bottom of the screen gets cut off by the Windows taskbar. Resolution doesn't seem to matter too much as just simply hitting Alt+O and switching to fullscreen automatically CTDs the game. Although, I can switch the resolution to 1080p in game with no issues.
Here's what I've tried so far:
- Put the .exe in (and out) of compatibility mode
- Edited the eq.ini with Fullscreen=True
- Ran WinEQ
- Other stuff I can't remember but will if it's suggested
Any help would be appreciated as I've been really interested in getting into classic EQ.
Cheers!
