Connection Issues

I have been playing on p1999 for about 3 weeks now. I have never had connection or login issues ever until now. I am not sure where to look or how to fix this.

I am on cable internet, using windows 7. Like I said before ive changed nothing, but all of the sudden I get blank server select screens and sometimes I can't even log in and often crash while zoning when I finally do make it in.

Is this me? or is there something up with the server / login server?

Also I have heard other people having the same problem since last nights lag fiasco.

Anyone have any idea whats going on?

Update: Just zone crashed since server came up. Rogean asked if anyone was having problems still. Apparently I still am.

Also still getting unable to login to the login server or when I do I get a blank server select screen.

I am having this same issue, ported to my bind spot last night in MM and crashed and ever since I can't get past the login soon as I try to login it just sits there and eventually I time out.

I am also having the same problem. I was able to log on yesterday with no issues but today I can't get in. While logging in I will time out at the login screen. Or if I do log in it shows no servers. So I have to log back out and pray I can log back in with no time out. The furthest I have gotten was to character selection but once I chose my toon I time out again loading into the game. Been trying this for an hour now on and off..
My roommate just got home from work and I had him to try to log his account in. Same issue. So I know it's not my computer.

Any ideas.. ? Help? :(

I can get in, it just takes a really long time and a lot of tries. I get in, if I get trained or have to zone for some reason I usually crash. This last time I actually zoned twice w/out crashing, but then crashed on the third zone (was trying to get to a different zone to exp in).

I was gonna try to reinstall the game, but idk if that will help at all.


I get a combination of blank server select screen, timed out trying to log in, log in just sits there and does nothing.

When im in the game I crash while zoning only, I haven't had problems in the zones im in.

Getting the exact same symptoms you are.

Can't connect to server select.

Then sometimes I can, and it's just blank.

Sometimes I make it to character select, etc.

Haven't actually made it in the game yet.

So its clear this is an issue. Any chance we can get a "we're looking into it" type of thing.

Also, tried reinstalling. No luck, same shit happens.

I'm with all of you. Same sort of stuff. Died twice in lguk last night from the crash/zoning. My XP laptop seems to have better luck than my monsterbox 7 machine; I think we just have to be patient.

Looks like its due to the DDoS attacks. Hopefully everything will be smooth if / when they stop.

I have always had troubles with it freezing when loading but as of recently it has gotten worse about 10 fold. Unable to connect to the login server, refuses to load when zoning, along with it just not wanting to load after hitting the enter world button at character select.

bumping this, the patch that suppose to fix the zone crashing is not working. Atleast it isn't for me, I still crash every 3-4 times I zone.
