I just bought a spell for 1k from shimakaze he is an awesome dude, xude, bro, w/e and showed me how to use a mule and bank and trade in freeport city. It was f'ckin exciting times.

I also had a pvP encounter with an EVIL elf named ladywood, that was pretty fun, I got her to 29% but she GOT ME b4 I could run to help! We battled a bit back and forth thruought the zone and she thought she had chased me off.

Don't let the naysayers naysay. There is PLENTY of room on red. Do some of the work yourself, and earn yourself a spot in the elite realms of EQ along side the greats such as

Red is so much better than blue, green, teal, pink, orange, purple, butterscotch...

In other words, even with the lower population. Red is PERFECT just the way it is.

I agree with you gustoo, generally, for the most part, indeed. Also reds population is not so fun for newbie melee groups.

However, and heres the thing. People do like to quest and camp items and get stuff on their own, but its discouraging when every really cool camp has a VP loot alt sitting at it, and basically the only way to get those camps or get nice stuff is to:

Be real nice and get the camp from someone who could obviously wipe the floor with you (this is fine, and fun for me, but not bluebies).

OR: Get a handout, which is what happens on red99 99% of the time, and so dark reavers rot and no adventures happen in guk.

Still fine by me, because it's not stopping me from playing the game I want, the way I want, with the people I want (you awesome red99 players).

Not a whipe, a transfer of characters over to blue so RED can be reset. I'd like to keep my characters lol.

I can't decide if I would prefer my red guys to go to the blue server for archiving, or to be archived on a red server.

On one hand, PVP pride.

On the other hand, they are already archived on red and as good as dead to me, and I have more potential for enjoying them if they were on blue so there is population to play with and interact with. At least I could log on and buff "noobs" on blue.

With that in mind, I would be in favor of a consolidated archive server (blue)

IDK blue is also old and has a fair share of cheaters, red had its own struggles. Those are earned pixels. Whether u kissed a wet frog for them or sat in line for them on blue makes little difference. What mattered was the journey, and the journey on red is far superior to anything blue ever had to offer.

That said, its a lot safer and easy to afk in blue at eruds crossing then it is in red. well it use to be.

Blue players do handhold a lot. And therefore logging into blue is in EC a bunch of people selling shit for 50p that otherwise would be deleted on red, and we all have limited play time so I don't expect red players to bank trash loot or hand out shit, but blue players don't want to earn their pixels the hard way, like real xudes would, if they were adventuring instead of sucking down the teat of the establishment.

Red nurtures us in a different way. It's hard to realize but it is definitely not all bad. Pras Karana for bringing balance, but srsly he's a dumb old man.

Zero brain grinding (blue) is still easier than red battles for exp and loot.

If red server was going to get dumped to blue on a regular basis (5 years?) It would mean a lot of people are willing to get red pixels for their RMT business and it would change the server dynamic a lot.

One thing that makes me want red to merge blue is all the blue pixel hoarders (rmt guys) that don't want it to happen for fear of the inflation. Laff.

Edit - When rogean and the team opens a new red server, you roll on it and tell me how "easy" it is to level with our "insane xp" when you have 300-400 players who will yellow text your ass if your 4 levels within range. Oh yeah, and when they kill you.. it's like a mob has killed you, you lose exp.
