If I had a time machine, I'd go back to 2014 when I finally bit the bullet and tried raiding after playing on/off since 2010. The people I met from 2014-2016+ changed my life for the better. This 'private' server is such a fantastic place to find like minded people who all enjoy this same 20+ year old game.

I Cherish the memories I've formed with the kind hearted people i've met along my journey and can only wish the best for them and the same for future green players.

If you could go back to any period of P99's history to relive, when would it be? Red peak? TMO's peak? The rise and fall of sirken? RNF boobs peak? Let your voice be heard

When <TMO> was in death spasms and <Asgard>, <Taken>, and <Bregen D'Aerth> all started actually competing and becoming completely non-casual yet still saying they were casuals was my favorite time on the server. 2016ish before Velious launched, right after Chest destroyed the rotation.

I'd have not played whatsoever during classic, waste of time. I'd then join the server with about 2 months before Velious so I could hit 60 and be ready to guild up and raid content worth raiding.

Yeah it would be fun to go back in time. I would play live, then al-kabor, then I would switch to EMU as soon as p99 rolled out.

I would want everything to be fresh again though. Ironically. I wouldn't want to do it with any for-knowledge. So I would need a guardian elf spirit to watch over me while I played.

Caveat if I was a billionaire, I would travel back in time with all this technology and open a red server and ensure that Rallos Zek classic rules set + item loot never went past kubark.

And there would be mer-elf cities on it.

It would be the initial opening of the server, it wasn’t so widely known at the time so the population was small, helpful and non toxic. It really was the replication of the feeling everybody is chasing here or the closest possible thing to it. I’m so glad I got to experience it one more time.

I enjoyed my first go around on server in 2012-13. Was cool having Chest lead a few raids I was in. However, was not fun the choke hold TMO had on the server.

You could turn in your 7th shawl for a note to someone in the Dain's room for a lore note (no-drop on other servers, but not Firiona Vie, my server.) Could be sold to vendor outside of zone in house on left for ~750pp. The route could be done with Gate and Sow in approx ~1 minute (rumor has it.)

I woulda gone back in time and told the GMs about this earlier than I did, which was already quite early, causing it to get fixed.

I dunno, those Sky raids were a bit fun. The server first EoV kill was a pretty big accomplishment in EQ history.

I’ll say it again: people who sat out the first few weeks of Green missed something really special. Even with the potential for future Green servers: it won’t be that unique and interesting ever again.
