Vexven Mucktail camp

So, I was camping for Vexven Mucktail, and I guess he has two potential spawn locations? On the hill inside and right outside before the bridge. I had been at the camp for several hours when a duo showed up and took the outside camp. I didn't say anything about it because I was unsure about how exactly this particular camp is split... is it considered two camps, or one camp? I petitioned about it, but of course that entire process takes too long to actually be of help.

Well, whatever the case, of course Vexven spawns on their side and they kill him without saying anything, get their loot and then just leave.

What is the situation behind this? Am I SOL and that's just luck of the draw? Or did they steal my camp without me knowing?

I may have read the wiki wrong, I guess. The spawn behind the bridge overlooking the path to Karana is nothing at all? Because it appears he only spawns on the tiny path before the bridge with the guard.

AFAIK the various Mucktails spawn in that circled spawn location below:

There are two separate spawn cycles in that same exact spot. One is a champion that pops every 6 minutes. The other is on a 22 min timer, and you get either the Muxtails or their PH, I think it's a flamepaw (which is separate from the flamepaw that spawns just south of that spot). The champion is stationary but the Mucktails and their ph walk along that ledge-path.

If it's an outdoor zone and the mob has multiple spawn locations, you can only legally camp one of those unless you're in a group in which case each group member can camp one additional spawn point each.
