Looking for a good classic/kunark alchemy guide. Been browsing the forums, with no luck. If I have missed it somewhere, someone please point me in the right direction - thank you.

EQtraders.com has a bunch of guides, unfortunately this one is the oldest i could find (2003):
http://www.eqtraders.com/articles/article_page.php?article=g85&menustr=040010000000
A few of the recipes are doable, but a few are not...

What is the "horribly 130 nerf?"

The alchemy guide on the wiki is ok, it does not however mention that the alchemy skill not only start at 25 but it is also capped at (level - 25 + 1) x 5, which means that there is really not much use in starting out until around lvl 33 when you can triv at sow potion (skill 37).

Sometimes when you get stuck you can use the Wayback Machine (http://wayback.archive.org/web/) and access old EQ Traders info (http://wayback.archive.org/web/20000801000000*/http://eqtraders.com). Between that and the wiki you can find pretty much all the info you need.

I would recommend you this guide, though the prices indicated are cheaper than what it is on the server :

You mean we're paying 2011 prices to vendors on P99?? =P

That's not what I mean :)
There is no date on the guide I linked so I can't tell if components in game should be cheaper than what they are right now or not.

I'm working on an Alchemy Guide, see it here (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dBg8trZhvmUiiWD___qHMosGuFH3DObtXQEktfAZnvk/edit?hl=en_US). Comments welcome and appreciated. Costs need to be validated (haven't had the chance) and are probably low as has been indicated.

From 42 to 70 you are proposing Ant's potions. I would go for some Etheria's poison antidote or Kithor's disease treatment from 42 to 57. Chances are that you sell none of those in EC and end up selling them back to vendor for low price but from 42 to 70 you will also fail a lot of Ant's potions. Not sure what is best solution here.
From 90 to 103, I would advise purity potion instead of rejuvenation. Much cheaper. And if you are attempting Trak, you can either sell those to some people or use them yourself.
From 103 to 143, would go Greater stability or Greater Null
From 143 to 156, would go Greater Null
From 156 to 163, would go Greater Purity
From 163 to 170, would go Frost / Swamp
In my opinion, it's the cheapest way to raise alchemy to 170.

i have 103 skill atm and spent about 15k, above sow potions, you can sell undead awareness, and a few others, with the higher end potions, dont know if theres a demand for it

Yeah, its a quandry but since Ants potions sell very quickly in EC (which is important since my online time is limited) I figure it's a good investment.
Thanks for the input I'll put it in shortly!
