help with missing textures

So I think I have read everything now - I can get on the Green server no issue

But

There is no ground in either the character creation screen or in the game

I can see the tops of trees, Mobs, characters, NPCs and some of the environment (I see the Kelethin elevators)

I have tried :

- reinstalling
- Checking my graphics drivers
- tried the HD UI
- updated the default UI folder
- updating the velious folder
- moved the install out of the progams folder as well

It feels like I have not properly setup the UI somehow - like set it to use Luclin but don't have the textures installed - but I am not trying to do that

I am running on an Intel Core i5 6260, with 8GB RAM using the internal GPU (540)

any ideas?

either one, extract to your main folder then overwrite

I tried that and it did not immediately fix it

however I think I will try a clean install and then load them

Of interest when I was having trouble with the spells I was not having trouble with the textures - so the issues is in the patch somewhere

Fixed with a re-install and patch

pretty sure I was patching incorrectly
