Plane of Sky quest upgrades?

The Plane of Sky 2.0 quests (ie: Dark Cloak of the Sky etc, etc,) were added on July 19, 2000 (http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20000719.html). This was before Gorenaire/Sev/Talendor which were patched in on August 9, 2000 (http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20000809.html).

Now I was wondering, since Gorenaire/Sev/Talendor have been patched in early, will we have the "new" Plane of Sky quest rewards available? Many of these items were high priority items for certain classes.

Any word on this by chance? The patch messages linked above show that the plane of sky items were upgraded before Talendor/Gorenaire/Sev were introduced; those dragons are currently in game, yet the upgraded items are not.

Some of these upgrades are already in when they shouldn't have been (Like Mask of Song (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=8078) being in instead of Mask of the Songbird (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=1893)).

No. It was just Uthgaard summoning a prize out of thin air because there was no equivalent haste item for a ranger that he was giving out for other classes.

Since there has been no response on if the quest givers are going to be upgrading. Can we just get the items upgraded from Uth or Rogean? Quick simple fix, while devs can work on other stuff.

I think probably half the upgrades were already in but either not many people have them (Arydryidriyorn, Rheumguls, possibly Theurgist's Star) or nobody cares (Ervaj's Flute of Flight).

Should the Wiki be used as a list to compile the ORIGINAL quests and the UPDATED ones for future reference in terms of the code, database, timeline, etc so the correct rewards are given when they should be (if the server is ever reset or whatever)?

For anything that was revamped/changed during classic the wiki will typically have both a note of how things previously were and how they were changed.

The PoS zone/quest pages will continue to have both pre and post upgrade information. Items that are changed/nerfed (http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Removed_Items),for example, usually have a note about the change and when in the timeline it (will) occur(ed).

I'm referencing the fact that half the stuff that was meant to get upgraded later on was already replaced by the upgrades upon release of Sky. At some point that would need to be fixed in the database if there was ever a re-release.

What's weird is that some of the upgraded sky items are already in game. I have seen a few of them. I completed the shaman bracelet/waist last night and received the old version, but Baubarian completed the hp hammer and got the updated version. I believe someone else got the better monk fists too maybe.
