Bored at work browsing Ebay for EQ stuff (yeah I'm that bored). I never knew there were EQ action figures. also didn't know about the EQ d20 game. search for "Everquest" at ebay. do i recall correctly that PS2 eq players could play on the same servers as PC version players? I swear I remember running into some of them. hmm I just found a book "The Rogue's Hour" about EQ.

The PS2 version of EverQuest was a completely different game, set before (I think) the PC version.

I had an Iksar shaman action figure as well as a Firiona Vie plastic statuette.

I had the D20 core game and all additional books. Cool part about the books was that they added hints to quests that had not been solved yet and a couple that were stealth added to the game. Never did find anyone to play the game but the lore in it was great.

I also played Everquest Online Adventures for a brief period of time, don't remember enough about it to comment other than for a PS2 game it was pretty neat.

There was also the RTS Everquest game for PC, I had that one too. It was meh.

Oh and Champions of Norrath which basically played like the PS2 Baldur's Gate games only prettier. Redundant but fun to play through once or twice.

Yeah I was that big of a fanboy but only for about 2 years.

the D20 EQ (or P&P EQ) had a bunch of new lore (is that an oxymoron?), and when it was released they added a couple of quests in game that were from one of the handbooks. (like the one in befallen with the no rent one charge horse bridle as a reward.)

I've got a couple of pewter miniatures (a dragon, and firiona vie) sitting on a shelf somewhere that I got as free shwag when buying some expansion or another.

You know I actually played EQOA for PS2 for a while. 38 Mage I had there. Was a great game, lazy as hell I became. In fact that's about the time I passed my 1st kidney stone hammering away energy drinks, on my couch, controller in hand, playing an mmo. Such glory days.

Also speaking of EQOA....

I found the ORIGINAL paper map from EQ Classic in my basement the other day. I'm going to frame it.

Its nerdy and my Fiance makes fun of me. But I can't find the original artwork from EQ. I am buying my own house and I want my gaming room to have the posters up. I've tried to google it but I can't find them. Any suggestions?

I'd frame and hang my map but my wife would cut me off for sure :)
