Going through the forums over on Everquest.com , there seems to be a consensus among the devs...

If we can make the Zek PVP server "Medium" for one night, they will consider giving us a PvP TLP server. (We can argue about the rules, and time period another time)
It's a free server, and there is a very loud community on their forums asking for a fresh pvp server, just like here.
What I'm suggesting:
All of us who want a fresh PvP server (TLP OR p99), we pick a night and we all roll characters there. We drive the population up to medium, or high.. make some videos, take some screenshots. And we SHOW the devs of p99 and Everquest, that there actually is a market for fresh EQ PvP servers.
Remember, current live EQ is free - and you DON't have to get past level 1 to count towards the population.
What do you guys think?
Now, you may not give a shit about a PvP TLP server, but it's a prop we can use to demonstrate to the devs on P99 that there is a desire for a P99 PvP fresh server.

i will login and participate but would prefer a p99 teams server, its just a shame all the blue players are shit and just want to wait in line for shit and not even apply themselves. What losers.

I think most of us would prefer a p99 PVP server, and the hope is that by getting Daybreak to release a TLP PVP, P99 will realize it *can* work.
All of these people on this forum say they want a fresh PvP server.
Where are they at? Lets start the movement.

Zek is a trash server.
But much like the devs here on P99, the TLP devs say "Huehue, no one plays on Zek so you don't get a new server."
Give us a new, good server, and people will play on it.

I spent 10 years playing emu pvp on all the boxes, during its absolute peak, being the FIRST real r99 pvp emu server from Rogean, it almost hit 1k. For a day.... over 7 years ago.... Drugs

Hope you ppl realize they arent talking about just one day, they expect to see at minimum atleast a month of solid numbers on Zek, anyone that has run a business knows you dont make decisions based off a few days worth of sales (in this case a few days on ppl making lvl 1 characters just to boost the number), even now with al the articles you ppl are linking the discord for this protest doesnt even have 200 ppl at the time of my post here, the fact is EQ is a crappy PVP game, it was always a PvE game and always will be, even if you got 500 ppl to play PVP on a new EQ server that number would drop under 100 after the first month easily cause EQ PvP is just boring, unbalanced, and vastly unpopular.

This is a good thread to make me remember how solid and great red99 is.
Can't bring myself to install "live" for virus 1 day. I guess my old characters would still be there maybe. That could be cool and weird.

i installed and went on live for the first time since the twin towers were still standing. characters were still there. its weird.
