This sounds incredible mate! I finally just got around to making a character on the green today. At the time of this posting he's a level 4 Inny Troll Shaman named MnightShaman. I have pp on the older blue server, but only have about 5pp right now from selling rusty weaps looted off littles in the swamp.

Wont be needing it now for sure. Couldn't even have an hour of fun today without assholes in the newbie zone.

Min maxers can't understand that when you are oom and no gear, it kinda helps to have a basic weapon better than the starting dagger.

Not sure what you mean? What assholes are you talking about?

There are damage caps depending on your level anyway, so you could have the best weapon a Nec can use in the game and you wouldn't be able to take full advantage of it. For casters, as far as gear goes, you're better off finding things that give +INT or +Mana in your hands. Sometimes that might end up being some sort of weapon, but often not. For instance, one of my casters has no weapons.

Kill Trumpy in South Qeynos. Hhe's level 10 and walks between the docks and the bar. Give his head (Dwarf head) to a npc in Kaladim and you get the hammer.

I was bound at Qeynos until last night but may be able to help get some.

Also, if you started in South Qeynos there is a quest where you tell the npc "I'll help with today's collections" and he'll give you a tradeable 10 slot box (small items). Always nice starting out with a 10 slot container.

We played the progression servers - Ragefire and Phinny - a couple years ago and had a lot of throwback fun. Got my Shaman epic, and SK tank geared out! OT'd on my SK, and my shaman was one of the main Shamans in our raiding guild.

Anyways, there was no way were were going to pay for a subscription again with our progression server so far ahead now there's no point in playing where we left off.

So here we are back on P1999 GREEN, and glad to be back on Classic!

Burnhole and Crunnin - we both made mages (so we can Duo together easily too).

Not really looking for handouts just saying "Hi" - and looking forward to getting into a guild/raiding!

We are oldschool EQ players - played on Ragefire and Phinny progression servers and maxed out a characters and raided through Kunark. Left off for too long and now those servers are too far ahead in expansions for us to care about playing them again.

Hi - my brother and I just started playing as did his daughter. This is our first time on EQ in about 19 years, and man did I forget how steep the initial learning curve was & how much armor mattered; thanks for doing this!

Just coming back to P99 after a long hiatus, hopped on Green and made a Troll Shaman since I've never played a Troll and never got a shaman much past level 24 but know they're dope. And I love root rotting, I kinda wish Necro's were better at it.

In any event, loving it so far, just got to level 4. Having never played a troll before I legit got lost for a good ten minutes when I realized I had been chasing frogloks and kobolds too deep into the swamp and completely lost track of where I came from, in a weird way it was super refreshing to play an MMO again where that can happen haha.
