increase gate guard stats, increase spawn time of city guards from 6 minutes to 20 minutes (nerf guard hunting)

This change didn't happen until Kunark.

Let's revert guards back to classic state. Currently on green, only the stats/level for gate guards is classic, and I think a handful of guards may be on the old 6 minute spawn.

Most haven't been properly reverted to their classic state.

Killing guards should be allowed but make you pvp enabled on non pvp servers.

I disagree it has too many known slimeball min maxxer guard murderers suffering from pixel rot.

But I'm just goofing, kill whatever mobs gets you exp fastest that is your job. (if you are evil)

All guards should be on the same faction - kill guards should make you KOS to all Citys/banks/…

It really hard starting a new char when the guards that we need are being killed.

Killing city gaurds are nasty but killing newbi zone guards that we need to run overpulls to is just wrong.

Just died due to no guards up - this should be a volation of play nice policy (ie: dick move).

What an absolute stupid idea. Or you could just run 10 more feet to zone into the city.

Most gate guards are too high level to be killed pre-Kunark anyway

The guard I was trying to run to was the pathing guard near the water on Ferrott(?) as I was trying to break the lizard camp right next to his pathing.

The other one is the NK guard house with the guards down there is no place to path griffs (without SOW there is no place to zone to fast enough). Some highlevels that kill guards sometimes help with griffs but other times not so much.

Since guard killing stopped in later versions of EQ, doing something about it is not a bad idea.

Not all guards need to be immortal (just the ones placed around for lower levels to use/run to). Inner city guard killing would be ok, if ya want to do that slimy thing.

Newbi guards need a buff (immortal, faction hit all, L75 with run speed and 100% MR) - something to stop newbi guard farming.

Your welcome to your option but unless your a newbi using the guards, your wrong.

Those guards are intended to be killed and were intentionally made lower than some mobs in the zone.
