Help with name

I deleted my old character on Teal to make the same name on Green. It says name rejected on both servers now so what's happening? There's no way somebody jacked the name in the 120 seconds in between deletion and creation... Help please!:confused:

I did /who for his name on both teal and green and nobody is online with that name. Are there new filters for names? Its not offensive or anything against policy like that idk why it is rejecting the name

You can petition to have the name restored. I had a name reserved on Blue and it was rejected on Teal so I made a similar named character on Teal and asked for a name changed with a petition and it was granted quickly. I think with Green/Teal the name filters were tightened up and many EQ friendly names were caught up in the change. Lets be honest the filter from Blue definitely needed to be tweaked.

Thanks a lot I put in a petition earlier today but had to log out so I put in another one just now and I'll stay logged in this time idk how they work if they go to a chat channel or what I hope they can get my name back!

Put in a petition on forum->petition section, they'll get to you when they have time
