They will fight on Jan 19.

I think Conor will win but I sure hope it will be a long and spectacular fight!

McGregor should win, but I don't know if he is just there to get paid or actually has the drive to be the man again in the UFC.

I know Mayweather wants to do 2 more fights & was teasing stuff with Dana White. I wonder if it will be McGregor vs. Mayweather 2.

I doubt McGregor vs Mayweather 2 can happen again. At least not with boxing rules. Mayweather is X leagues above McGregor when it comes to boxing and it's now obvious to everyone, so pay-per-view should not gross anywhere near as much as it did for the first bout.

What would be fun IMO is Tyson Fury getting coached by Conor for UFC (apparently it was mentionned), and try his luck at MMA.

Cerrone by Guillotine end of Round 1.

It's happening on the 18th.

As much as I like Cowboy and as much as I dislike Conor, it's going to be Conor most likely. Even though Conor is rusty, Cowboy is coming in after two recent TKO losses. When Conor is hungry he is more dangerous and I would say he is pretty hungry to make himself relevant again. Definitely rooting for Cowboy though.

He's the primary antagonist of the award winning 1902 children's book The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. Maybe your mummy will read it to you if are extra good this year.

Actually, Cerrone should win considering he has way more tools under his belt. McGregor has great striking, but his cardio is shit. And outside of his takedown defense (which is highly underrated), his grappling just as much shit. McGregor's path to victory consists of storming out the gate and apply the pressure to land a big shot, given that Cerrone is typically a slow starter. But if Cerrone can utilize his grappling, score a takedown, and establish control, he'll make short work of McGregor. People always talk about how great Nate Diaz's grappling is, but Cerrone is right on par with Diaz. And if Cerrone wins, I'd like to see him and Nate run it back.

McGregor isn't a primary grappler but he certainly knows how to defend. It took Khabib 3 rounds to choke him and Khabib is arguably the best grappler in UFC. Khabib relentlessly attempted to take Conor down during most of the fight and spent quite a bit of time on the ground, with Conor doing quite a decent job defending (considering it wasn't against some random BJJ black belt - it was against freaking Khabib in his prime).

Conor actually landed quite a few shots on Khabib during the fight and rocked him pretty bad (in round 2 I think). It could have ended right there, but the RNG was favorable to Khabib this time.

So yeah. My money is on Conor but I hope he gets beat up in the process.

Cerrone by Guillotine end of Round 1.

^ if Cerrone wasn't almost completely past his prime and heading into cring territory. Not saying McGregor isn't a crappy one dimensional fighter because he is.

Loooooooool whut????

Khabib got him down on his first pick and had McGregors ass on the mat less than one minute into the first round. Then Khabib spent the next few rounds beating his ass.

Honestly, McGregor did better than I expected against Khabib. He definitely showed improvements in his takedown defense since the Mendes fight. That fight it looked like Mendes got him down in at will. Khabib had to dig deeper for the takedown. That being said, Cowboy has a pretty good takedown off the headslip when he's in range. Question is, does McGregor have enough speed in his hands to nullify that. And yes, Cerrone is past his prime, but I still like how he matches up here. A legit grappler, dangerous striker, and he rarely gasses. I say Cowboy in Rd 4 via triangle.

McGregor's career is done if he loses another one... he'll be relegated to matches against undefeated prospects coming through.

Watch the fight again. Khabib almost got KD'd in the 2nd. That could have easily been a KO.

He consistently took Conor down but it took him a ton of work before he could actually monetize it with a choke in 3rd.

Can't wait for Tony vs Khabib tbh. Should be an epic fight.

Cowboy is too old now to keep up with mcgregor. prolly gonna get tko 2nd round. In cowboys prime he might of out ranged him, and def had the advantage on the ground. Now even if cowboy gets a takedown connor will just pop right back up like he did on the wrestlers.... not including kabib.

After seeing McGregor sucker punch an elderly man in a bar, I lost all respect for him. He's a lowlife scumbag, overrated, overinflated, not that great of a fighter. He's a showman like Brock Lesnar, but with less athleticism.

Highly doubt he is pulling in that much. Think vs. Khabib he only made 7-15 mil? Because they held the purse- ppl payment

Bummed that you need to have ESPN+ then purchase the PPV.

I know they only do 3-4 big fights with this model, but I was enjoying all the free PPV tier content with just ESPN+

I ve seen a cock (bird) fight once somewhere. Thought it was gross and cruel.

Love myself a good old boxing, kickboxing or MMA bout though. More than anything I like old school K1 fights from the 90s. These were some tough, tough men.

I wish UFC would allow super-heavyweights or have no max weight for the heavyweight division. Some of the most entertaining fights in K1 & pride were freak show fights.

I still wonder who watches these apes beat eachother up, how could that be amusing?

you guys watch pitbulls fight and cock fights too? wtf

These guys are some of the most highly skilled athletes, some prior Olympic medal winners you can see in competition . UFC isn't freak show fights it was 20 years ago

The Floyd fight netted about $600 million total. It's a lot of cash.

Cerrone's and Conor's interviews sound more and more fake and staged.

And Conor suddenly roleplaying a likeable guy, just so fake.

There's a link between getting EQ Titanium and watching the McGregor fight ^^

I agree I think if you have ESPN+ it should air it.
