I am curious if anyone has tried the new CBD oil to control their epilepsy. I have read many great things about it really controlling seizures and maybe trying it myself.

Most videos and articles have tons of reviews and comments. Each review and comment, almost, has a link for a company. It looks like an advertisement campaign to promote this stuff.

Has anyone tried CBD oil? How did you find it to be? Is it really working???

I've tried it but not for epilepsy. It made me feel really calm and my body aches in my back subside. Was actually impressed with it and I didn't think I would be.

Thanks for your reply. how long did you use it for? What is the dosage that works for you? Can you think of any side effects that you witnessed?

I started a CBD company a few years ago, if you get the high quality stuff it does work fantastic, unfortunately nobody really wanted to pay any money for it but they would talk for hours about how great it was.

It will help dramatically with your epilepsy , i would recommend you grow your own fresh CBD cannabis plants, if you have a lot of room buy hemp seeds in bulk on ebay or something, you can buy a big bag for $20 or if you are a real grower and doing high potency indoor start with charlottes web, its legal in every state to grow.

I agree with you 100%. It’s not about the financial cost more than taking advantage of desperate people and living off of their emotions and disadvantages.

Which one are you buying? Are you taking it orally?

I take a 550mg sublingual oil/tincture (1 dose = 1ml from an eye dropper every 12-24 hrs or as needed) for stress and anxiety and it really does help to reduce/mitigate those negative emotions and feel more calm and relaxed. I would recommend it. Companies I've used include Cani-brands, IheartCBD, urbalactive, and some stuff from wholefoods. They were all similarly effective it seemed.

yup Some cafes near me put CBD in their drinks and it gives me a super mild calmness. So I bought some pure CBD extract from the dispensary and so far it's great for relaxation after work , without the psychoactive parts of THC like paranoia. However because it's not a menta high at all it can be tough to notice it working. But it is mild and I'm sleeping better. But be warned that nothing is for free and I've read it can be somewhat addictive and you need continually higher doses to feel anything.

I've had mixed experience ranging between this is the best thing ever to snake oil. I never end up buying the same thing twice, beyond golden leaf creamscicle flavor. They were stupid expensive (70-80 for 500mg / fl oz) but it worked prettty good.

CBDdistillery was good last I heard (2017ish) and theyre very cheap compared to most distributors.

Well, I have ordered this https://www.getjupiter.com/organic-cbd-oil/ and yet not delivered. Let's see how effective it would be for me after using it. And I am not sure does it worth $71 or not.

I will love to update you after a week of use.

I have been using this to manage my daughters ADHD, it has been amazing, not as expensive as some other CBD we have seen/tried from local dispensaries etc, and her last report card was A's and B's finally:

It probably works for stuff. But it almost certainly has a tolerance effect to it. Every drug has this to a degree, but those chemicals it's pretty significant. If it is truly for just epilepsy, then yes, that has proven to at least possibly work. And if you can keep a reasonable dose, it may help.

Of course, epilepsy is not a singular disease. There are many causes of regular seizures. And many more if you've only had a couple. You should certainly try cbd oil. But you should stay hyper aware that you may "need" more and more. Just keep in mind what is happening. It may make you feel good in such a subtle way. There is way more to epilepsy than the seizures. And CBD might be the answer. If it is, you need to control the dose. At all costs. Cause coming off high doses for an epileptic can be very dangerous. Just stay self aware of your brain. It is a good thing if it works. But keep it to a minimum.

fake weed, placebo in full effect. People selling hemp oil

ps. be careful or don't use if your job drug tests, trace amounts of thc may show up even if not listed on the 'packaging/container/prescription'

I heard from a friend of the doctor that those who abuse weed have a strong tolerance for strong painkillers. That is, if the guy smoked weeds and got to the hospital, then a horse dose of pain medication is required for the operation. I would not want this for myself because you may simply not wake up from a large dose of anesthesia.

I don't know about medical benefits, but I accidentally bought some cbd weed, and I just felt like I smoked some really shitty weed. Prolly has like the pain killing effects of 1/8 a 5mg hydro....if that.

that's extremely exaggerated . They are different chemicals. So chemically, your completely incorrect, however the psychosis of the entire relevancy to inebriation may have some merit, it's certainly not to the degree, or even close to the degree, that your suggesting. sorry for the run on sentence. not really.

All I know about CBD oil is this:

When I was young, my step-mom was all about the 'magical healing properties' of magnets. She got heavily invested in a pyramid-scheme bullshit company, had mountains of that product in our house, and everyone in the family had to wear the insoles, bracelets, and other accessories.

Fast forward to today, my step-mom is all about the 'magical healing properties' of CBD oil. She is heavily invested in a pyramid-scheme bullshit company, and has mountains of that product in her house.

So if I know my step-mom, it's probably just a fad designed to part foolish people from their hard-earned money.

Anesthesia here, that's pretty much correct. Generally speaking i have to significantly increase my induction doses from about 50-80% my normal go to weight based dosing just to accommodate for this.

Additionally, if I find normal doses of narcotics sub par what one would usually suspect for adequate surgical pain control. With these folks I tend to push harder for regional/neuraxial anesthetics where appropriate. Outpatients get ketamine, Inpatients get more ketamine. Anyone who goes home with "uncontrolled pain" i tell them to go ahead and smoke their weed, just don't mix em with the prescribed narcotics (they're gunna fucking do it anyway, might as well be safe and cover my butt)

That being said, I've yet to see any confounding literature in CBD as far as its pharmacological effects. from anecdotal reports (by far the worst classification of evidence) it does everything from preventing seizures, to muscle relaxation, to mood enhancement and curing of cancer.

Needless to say the broad range of reported positive attributes with no negative side effects makes myself and many others dubious of its efficacy.

Most of the people involved in the manufacturing and distribution, id be willing to bet have little to know knowledge of the medical / physiological / pharmacological properties of the stuff and that said it's not necessarily a safe option, in my opinion (who cares about that) I believe there is probably a few chemists, one burned out pharmacologist, and several engineers behind the movement of this product. I agree with others who that there is most likely a large placebo effect to its use and would be willing to bet well rounded double blinded clinical research trials would show the same thing.

BITD; the limit was 50 nano-grams or higher, which meant you were tokin da ganj. Anything less, was acceptable due to second hand smoke levels + other factors. Most CBD items I've seen, heard of, or tried, have such a trace amount that it would not register to those levels. So far, I've only heard good things from many people & pet owners about CBD

I take CBD drops at night before bed. 25 MG worth via a dropper underneath my tongue. No THC. On the nights when I forget to take it, I notice worse sleep. My father in law swears it's snake oil but the proof is in the puddin'!

Just a fyi to all the people interested in CBD one of the first things donald trump did was pass a farm bill the decriminilized hemp and the cultivation of hemp in every US State, as long as it is high cbd low THC it is legal to cultivate your own plants

Full spectrum CBD has no substitues and theres nothing you can buy that will give you the effect fresh CBD Will, its dark or i would post a picture of my plant, but i bought sour spacecandy hemp seeds and i have a sick plant.
