I always kept root, mesmerize, mesmerization, two stuns, and ToT permanently loaded and just cycled between everything else as needed. It's pretty standard really. You pretty much need those 6 spells (ToT can come out if there are literally no casters around, but otherwise it's totally worth a slot) to safely charm in a dungeon at 50+.

1.) Swap
2.) Color Flux
3.) Color Shift
4.) Mesmerize
5.) Mesmerization
6.) Fetter
7.) Blanket of Forgetfulness (Bedlam if CC is not an issue)
8.) Theft of Thought (Bedlam if no casters)
