View Full Version : Game Mechanics: pet commands should work in /say with the pet targetted

I remembered this from Live but had trouble finding proof. No longer!

Pets should respond to all the usual /pet commands if you /say the command with the pet targetted and in /say range.

eg, /target Jobober, /say attack orc, and Jobober should attack the orc.

Hello! Not too exciting, but the next time you make a pet, try this out....
You no longer have to do "/pet attack" or "/pet guard here" or whatever,
although its probably still easier. You can now just /say "<Pet Name>,
attack!", or whatever. Sorry if I'm mentioning something that has been in
there since last April, but I just discovered it, and I thought it was neat.
I was shocked when my pet responded to "Jabaner, attack that tree!"... "That
is not a legal target master."

Ah well, thats all.

They always respond to spoken commands. You have to have them targeted
though.

A blast when you have your pet targeted and say "I always get lost in
Everfrost."
